COLD SHEEPING: YEAR THIRTEEN
2020 Goals: 50 Finished Projects
Completely doable...if, Big IF, they are baby sweaters. Adult sweaters you mean? Well now, that is...no comment.
how about 12 pieces of clothing, sewing and knitting??12 cable sweaters in a year is ......more nuts than normal?greets Gies
I'm with Deb. At least some of them will be baby sweaters, right? And you don't have to start and finish one a month- WIPs will count, and you can have several going at once as long as they're done for the year. And you have already done a sweater start to finish for the knitting Olympics. (And it will be so entertaining for your friends..whoops, did I type that out loud..?) Terrific idea! Go for it!Alternatively...if you don't think 12 sweaters will hold your interest, you could have the Year of Big Projects- sweaters, quilts, large shawls or afghans. That would mix it up a bit.
If you can do 111 projects, you can certainly knit 12 sweaters. I'll bet you could knit 12 sweaters and sew 12 dresses. However, I still think that you seem to prefer to make smaller items, like scarves, chemo caps, and embroidered towels. You don't want to get stuck struggling to finish stuff you don't really want to work on.
I can tell you right now that, for me, I'd end up with 12 half sweaters in my UFO pile. Maybe alternate with sweater one month, matching accessory of some type the next...
