A Little Yarn On The Side

I'm in the 9th month of The Year of the Stash, and to date I've used up this much yarn plus 6 skeins of this which I didn't include in the picture because I don't have anything even remotely similar to represent it in the picture. That's a lot of yarn. 13,885 yards and 87 balls/skeins/hanks. Tonight I am choosing to bask in the glory of having used up a really large amount of yarn from the stash, and I'm completely ignoring the knowledge that all that yarn really didn't even make a visible dent in the stash. We with stash issues must cling to what we can.....

Needing a little motivation, I was just skimming the spreadsheet of what projects I've finished for the year and how much fabric & yarn I have used up and I noticed the Fir Cone Shawl still only listed 2 hanks instead of 3. (I'm now actually almost halfway through the 4th). So I got to add 440 yards to my total without even touching knitting yet today! Whoo hoo!!!!
