Hmm. I made my then-boyfriend a sweater and we did get married. But he used some mysterious male washing technique that stretched the sweater out to double it's original size. A variant on the sweater curse?
OTOH, on really cold days, he puts the oversize sweater on over another one for extra warmth, so it's hard to feel too upset about it....
