Temptation

9 days and 7 washcloths later, I was a bit tempted to order yarn today. Not that I need any--or was even tempted by any particular yarn--but I'm already bored with my recovery & have 5 more weeks stretching in front of me. Not that I don't have a basket FULL of knitting projects, a bin full of half-finished knitting projects, and a 6 YEAR SUPPLY of yarn, but I think I was looking for something to do. Luckily, shopping for yarn takes about the same amount of time whether you buy or not, so I browsed for a while today. BUT, I did not give in! However, I'm thinking I might move past dish cloths. 7 qualifies for a completed Project of the Month don't you think?????

Seven is a lovely number, a divine number. It certainly counts as a finished project. Treat yourself with a fun "new" yarn from the gems in your stash. You deserve to use some "precious" yarn as part of your recovery.

Yes, definitely! 7 is amazing. Maybe you could start a big lovely blanket or something and try to finish it while you wait out your recovery?

Hope you feel better & recover soon.

One for every day of the week, that's about right. I agree with Gaidig, I'm sure there is some nice stuff in the stash that deserves some petting. Just cast on :-) And you can always do another WIP to FO marathon later this year, we're not yet halfway through 2009.

There is definitely a limit to how many dishcloths one can knit in a row. Time for a new challenge!
