# 14 Is DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 14th WIP in a row is finished, washed, and blocking:and does a pretty mean "little teapot" as well.

And--drum roll please--I have now used 18,106 yards or just over 10 miles of yarn this year! Oh my! Now if that only made a sizable dent in the stash......

I haven't cast on anything new, nor have I worked on Fleur or dem fischer sin fru today. Instead, I worked on the five red stockings:
and all the legs are now embroidered, but tonight I noticed this:Notice anything? Part of the design didn't transfer through to the embroidery card, so the holly leaves look a little funny. Two stockings have this problem--though I didn't notice until I did the second one. My options are to rip out the design & put something else there, try to fix it by hand (and this would be a good time to mention that I am not a good hand embroiderer--I tried doing a pillowcase a few years ago and it looks like it was done by a five year old with the shakes), or ignore it and hope the recipients don't notice. Thoughts???

Have you thought of doing free motion machine embroidery? Put the sewing machien in slow motion and give it a try.

Congrats on FO #14! It looks too cute. Is this a self-created pattern or one from a book, etc? As for the stockings, I'd just leave it be. If the recipients notice, then you can offer to fix them, on a one-by-one basis. Otherwise? Life is just too short.

Fourteen! Wow! C'mon, you could knit the dem fischer for a while, then when you can't stand it any more finish Fleur for *fifteen*. Although if you have naked yarn fantasies, you might want to mark the blog entry NSFW pls! :)

I'm with Jill, I'd mark the stocking design and then hand crank the machine to get the last few lines in. Tucking in all the thread ends is fussy, of course. (I would have to do something like this to satisfy my inner perfectionist...dunno, will it nag you if you don't fix it?)

Unless it's going to drive you crazy... ignore it. If you hadn't deliberately pointed out that there was something wrong with it I wouldn't have looked for it and probably wouldn't have seen it.
If you decide that it will drive you crazy and you must fix it... I agree with the others who said to hand crank the machine.

10 miles, oh my!!! And WIP 14!!! You totally rock.

Can you get one of those fabric pens in gold? Either that, or I would just leave it. I don't think I would notice it if I hadn't made it. Lovely stockings Toni!
