I'm Trying to be Contagious!!!

I am still holding strong and have not cast on anything new. It's possible....just possible...that I could finally get through all this before I cast on something new:
Not very likely, I'll grant you, but possible. Wouldn't that be fabulous! The odds are better than normal as my case of "finishitis" is still going strong. Let's hope it's both contagious and incurable!

To help spread this new condition, I have decided to sponsor a contest for number of WIPs finished in a row WITHOUT casting on anything new. Some consideration will be given for the size and complexity of the project, but they must already be in progress as of this moment. The winner (or winners--I reserve the right to award multiple prizes if it is called for) will receive a knitting bag with his or her name embroidered on it. I'd post a picture, but I haven't made it yet as I just thought of this yesterday. Keep me posted through the comments and let me know how many projects you have completed--I'll be posting a regular tally! I really REALLY hope you catch "finishitis!"

Theo is pretty much immune from all that might be considered "constructive." For a skinny cat, he's looking quite the pudge in this picture. Black might not be so slimming after all.....

That kitty picture totally made me SNORT! Great.
What a cool contest idea - I believe I already lose, as most of my WIPS are more like "I want to rip you out and forget you exist." You never know, though!

Inquiring minds want to know. What is that red thing? :) Also, I think the contest is a wonderful idea! I can't play this time, however, since I am married to the Summer of Socks 08 until September 1st. I might impale myself on my dpns by then...... Plus, shhhh, I only have five UFOs.....

P.S. I wanna see the bag anyway!

What a great idea!
I'll have to make a list of my UFOs (knitting ones, anyway--I've got more than 27 quilting ones) and see about finishing them.

Love the kitty pictures!

Maybe the challenge should be to 'finish more WIPs than Toni'? *g*

I probably can't play- I've only got 3 (it's that project knitter thing again- like finishitis only permanent), but I'm really looking forward to seeing pics of everyone's finished projects!

Hey this is a great idea! I always feel just a little guilty for starting new projects, knowing I have UFO's. I only have 4 but, 3 of them are from last year(grin). Aaachew! Yep, I definately have the finish-its! Thanks for the inspriration!

LOL! I think it is a great idea but I only have one UFO (I am actively working on the other 3 projects)! Maybe, just maybe I'll get those gloves out and finish them off - afterall there are only 4 fingers and 1 thumb to go.

Holy crapoley, batman! That's a lot of UFO-ness there! Or maybe I'm just not qualified to judge, as I only have one UFO and one WIP. (We're totally not counting a DO - deserted object - from several years ago, 'cause I'm probably gonna frog that thing after I move and, therefore, find it again. Sigh.)

Good luck with that pile of partially completed prettiness!

I have a really bad case of finishitis too! I counted up all my WIPs and I'm somewhat ashamed to say that I have 12. Twelve! Argh...(I keep thinking of more as I write this comment...so there may be more than that; I can say for sure that it's a lot!)

So I take on your contest challenge. What time limit are you setting to finish WIPs?
