Deep respect for all the time and effort that went into this.
You're so right. how can she be so wrong about the total length of yarn she used.
You're doing great!MoniqueB.https://www.blogger.com/profile/04640582193247984041noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2187154004946294016.post-20954033689068902032008-06-08T08:37:00.000-06:002008-06-08T08:37:00.000-06:00Harvey Korman?! I loved him on the Carol Burnett show.

I find the yardage discrepancies (your's isn't the only one I've heard of) to be confusing. Don't they usually have test knitters to do more than one sample? Maybe they didn't do that with this book. I wonder how she managed to use so much less (I've yet to hear of someone ending up with leftover yarn)?
I've got that book, but I'll be sure and search for completed projects before I choose one (I'm looking at the Myrtle Leaf shawl).Kathleen C.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09985361663328017340noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2187154004946294016.post-90338153111511790402008-06-08T07:36:00.000-06:002008-06-08T07:36:00.000-06:00I forgot all about Lord Love a Duck - was Roddy Mc...I forgot all about Lord Love a Duck - was Roddy McDowall ever THAT young! I saw this movie in my Ruth Gordon phase after seeing Harold and Maude for the umpteenth time.
Glad to see the shawll is progressing so well and I'm REALLY glad I didn't start it with my yarn - I wouldn't have had enough.Jillsknithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15694460110573604463noreply@blogger.com
